Organise a Visit
We are delighted to announce our Taster Morning and Open Evening events.
Open Evening – Friday 1 October 2021
Thank you to everyone that joined us for our annual Open Evening on Friday 1 October. We hope you found the evening enjoyable and useful. If you were unable to attend the evening, but are interested in applying for a place at King Edward’s for September 2022, please email email@example.com to book a private tour of the school instead.
Our Taster Mornings are a fantastic way for parents and children to experience our school, meet the Head, explore the grounds and join us for lunch. Our Taster Mornings have been so popular this year, we’ve decided to add another date! Current Year 6 and Year 8 pupils (and their families) are invited to attend a Taster Morning on Tuesday 9 November. We anticipate this to be filled quickly, so please email firstname.lastname@example.org to secure a place as soon as possible.
The format for the taster mornings will be as follows:
10.00 am – arrive for refreshments and registration in the Dining Room
10.30 am – Pupils will have three short taster lessons, while parents will have a welcome address by the Head, Mr Parker
11.15 am – Parents taken on a tour of the school
12.00 pm- Parents and children have lunch together

A Virtual Information Evening with the Heads
On June 29 2021, we held a virtual information evening, providing information and insight into King Edward VI School and Stroud, our preparatory school, what makes them so special, an outline on school life and the 3-18 educational experience offered. Chaired by King Edward’s Registrar, Mrs Sheppard, the event was streamed live from our state-of-the-art Dobson Theatre and we were joined by Mr Parker, Head of King Edward’s and Mrs Smith, Headmistress of Stroud. We invite you to watch a recording of the session, which can be found below.
We also invite everyone to explore our school and facilities virtually with our 360 tour. If you have any questions about King Edward’s and admissions, please don’t hesitate to email Mrs Sheppard at firstname.lastname@example.org.
