IT & Computing
IT & Computing is a relatively new subject but one that is increasingly important as societies use and reliance of it grows. The digital revolution has begun and pupils must be equipped with the necessary skills to succeed and excel in workplaces that may not even exist yet. This is taught in Years 1 and 2 and includes computing skills such as programming, use of standard applications and digital world education.
Pupils receive one lesson of computing each week in Year 1 and 2. The aim of these lessons is to level and develop pupils computing thinking and ICT skills from their varied primary entry.
Please see the schemes of work under course information for more information.
