King Edward VI School shortlisted for ‘Co-educational Independent School of the Year’ award

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that King Edward VI School has been shortlisted for the ‘Co-educational Independent School of the Year’!

The award aims to recognise co-educational schools which offer an outstandingly rich experience for their students, with a wide breadth of co-educational provision that meets the educational, emotional and societal needs of students preparing them for their next steps.

Whilst we are an academically selective school, at King Edward’s we aim to provide each and every student with as many opportunities and experiences throughout their time with us as possible. Being shortlisted for this award, therefore means a lot to the whole school community. Additionally, to be recognised for the experience we have provided to our pupils during a time of COVID, in our eyes, is even more of an achievement.

We are proud that our students leave us having developed both in and out of the classroom; having attained their academic potential, whilst learning to win with grace and lose with dignity, having established the characteristics of confidence with humility, and the desire to contribute to wider communities. Thank you to the Independent School Parent, for shortlisting us!
