#KESFEST- Arts Festival 2019
The 2019 KES Arts Festival, #KESFEST has been delighting the whole school community and beyond this week. This three-day spectacular event celebrated all that is rich, diverse and amazing in the field of creative arts. Particular highlights were a Jazz Evening with the Paul Jordanous Ensemble, playing side by side with the KES Big Band and Swing Band and the lecture from renowned art critic Martin Gayford. Elsewhere there were workshops on African drumming, stage combat, songwriting, DJ-ing, aerial gymnastics, face painting, vlogging and mask-making to name but a few, a Third Year production of ‘Of Mice and Men’, the annual Art Exhibition and much, much more. We also enjoyed a spectacular street theatre event during lunchtime on the last day and even found time for a silent disco!
