Catalonia 2019

During half-term, thirty-seven First and Second year students travelled to Catalonia for a language and cultural trip.  Based in the coastal town of Tossa de mar, students enjoyed splashing about in the hotel’s swimming pool and visiting the ancient heart of the city. The group also visited the medieval town of Girona, a breath taking 12th century city, as well as participating in many other activities. Highlights included the Park Guell in Barcelona, designed by the famous architect Gaudi, The Mercat Boqueria, the largest covered marketplace in Europe and the oddities of the surrealist Dali Museum.
