Andalucia 2019

During the Easter break, a group of third and fourth year Hispanists spent five days exploring the rich cultural and historical heritage of Andalucía, Spain’s southernmost and perhaps most iconic region. Highlights included visiting a number of UNESCO world heritage sites, such as the Mezquita-Catedral in Córdoba, the Real Alcázar in Sevilla and the Alhambra in Granada. With Spanish classes in the morning and staying with Spanish families in the evening, the students had plenty of opportunities to improve their linguistic skills, topped off by a Flamenco class and lots of delicious tapas.
