Third Year WWI History Day

On 18th January, Third Year pupils took part in a WWI History Day.  In a series of lively and interactive sessions, delivered by visiting speakers, they learnt about all aspects of this period in our history from medical developments and aerial warfare through to the rise of the Nazis and the Christmas truce of 1914.  They also heard from Pete Jones, former Head of Sixth Form at KES, about his research on Old Edwardians who fought, but sadly did not return, from the battle front.
