Byron Society a-roving!

A team of eight members of the School’s Byron Society revelled in the sunshine and showers of London at the weekend as the biannual visit to key sites associated with Lord Byron took place.  Finishing up at Daunt’s Bookshop on Marylebone High Street, where copies of Byron’s latest work were purchased, the group also visited the Byron statue on Park Lane, Albany on Piccadilly (Byron’s central London residence), Pickering Court, home of Regency duels, The National Portrait Gallery and Byron’s birthplace at Oxford Circus.
