A Level results 2018

85% of all A level grades were at A*, A or B with over 54% at A* and A. A third of all students achieved at least 3 A and A* grades. 12 students have been offered places at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge and over four fifths of the UVI cohort will proceed to Russell Group universities.


George Budden is going to study Medicine at Nottingham having got A*s in Biology and Chemistry and As in Maths and Physics.

Rishabh Chugh is going to Cambridge to study Economics having got 4 A*s in Economics, Maths, Further Maths and Physics.

Jess Holmes has accepted a place to study Medicine at UCL having got an A* in Biology, an A*in Chemistry and an A in Maths.

Aasta Kendall has got A*s in French and German and an A in Maths and will be studying Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge.

Mat Man got A*s in Art and Maths, an A in Physics and an A for his EPQ.  He is going to study Architecture at Bath.

Natalie Oldfield is going to study Biology at Bristol. In her A Levels she got an A* for Biology, an A* for her EPQ, an A for Psychology and an A* for Religious Studies.

Abi Sheppard will be going to Oxford to study Biological Sciences having gained 3 A*s in Biology, Psychology and her EPQ as well as an A in English Literature.

Tabitha Trail is going to study History at Oxford having got an A* in Classical Civilisation an A in History and an A* in English Literature.
