KES Memorial Garden

The WWI Memorial Garden continues to take shape in time for its official opening in November this year, to mark the anniversary of the end of WWI. Mike Long, former Head of Art at KES, was commissioned to design and make a bronze statue to commemorate this particular moment in history. The statue, which depicts three servicemen and has references to KES pupils lost in both world wars, has now been delivered to school and is awaiting installation, as the garden moves into the final stages of completion.
