KES hosts Prep School Art Exhibition

Tuesday evening saw the KES Art Department host the inaugural Prep School Art Exhibition in the new Atrium and Art Studios. Parents, pupils and staff from seven Hampshire prep schools attended the evening to celebrate creativity in their schools and see their art professionally displayed and exhibited.  Mr Piggott praised the wonderful range and variety of work submitted, giving departmental prizes to Forres Manor School and West Hill Park. Forres Manor School pupil Lydia Holmes was given special mention for her  mixed media piece of Paddington Bear.  All entrants were given KES sketchbooks and pencils and everyone agreed it was a fabulous evening which will become an annual event.  Thank you to all those pupils and staff from Durlston Court, Forres Sandle Manor, Stroud, Pilgrims, Princes’ Mead, Sherborne House and West Hill Park who took part in the event.
