Dignioras and Dignissimas awarded
Georgia Tomlin has been awarded a Digniora for English.
Dr Schofield comments: “Georgia produced an outstanding essay on Lady Macbeth and how far she is considered a powerful character. Her response showed a highly detailed knowledge of the context of Elizabethan theatre, strong language analysis and evaluation of author-craft worthy of an A Level student.”
Aasta Kendall has received a Dignissima for French.
Mrs Brown remarks. “Aasta produced an incredibly mature and well-thought-through piece of work on the disconnect that exists between the political elite and the public. She did further research beyond the brief in order to provide wide-ranging evidence for her ideas.”
Well done to both students.
