Girls 1st XI reach regional finals in impressive style

The girls’ 1st XI hockey team have continued their excellent run in the National Cup with a convincing 8-1 victory over Eastbourne College. KES started well and after scoring in the first 5 minutes they continued to attack and take their chances to lead 5-0 at half-time.  Eastbourne started the second half strongly but the KES defence remained resolute whilst at the other end the girls took more chances. Eastbourne are a strong side and the team thoroughly deserve their day at the regional finals where they will take on Cranleigh, Kingston and Bradfield who will have noted the impressive scoreline.
