1st XI win Altham Trophy

On Friday, the 1st XI cricket team played in the Altham trophy final at the Ageas bowl. An indifferent KES bowling display allowed the opposition, Queen Mary’s College from Basingstoke, to amass a score of 145. However, after a solid but slow start to our reply, Jacob Fay and Gregor McKenzie gave the School’s innings momentum and the boys eventually reached the target for the loss of 5 wickets with 5 overs to spare with Jacob finishing on 40 not out, to take the trophy.  Congratulations to the entire squad who have played some great cricket this season.
