Beam House visit

The School’s annual trip to Beam House Activities centre in North Devon took place over the Easter break. For five days a group of twenty Third Years enjoyed the chance to try their hands at activities such as climbing, abseiling, archery, rifle shooting and even surfing in the cold Bristol Channel. New this year was blokarting, where one sits in a little canvas buggy powered by a windsurf-type sail. It proved a great hit; pupils found it easy to pick up and were soon racing able to race one another across the sand of Westward Ho! Over the course of the week everyone rose to the challenge of something new and a great time was had by all.
