Mathematically challenged!

This year the University had 279 entries for the Mathematics Challenge with entries from 12 schools and 56 entries for the Senior Challenge from 8 different schools or colleges. The judges were impressed by the high standard of the best entries.

In the Senior Challenge the following students received awards:

First Prize: Kim Ward
Second Prize: Tabitha Sparkes
Third Prize: Adrian Chu
Certificate of Merit: Jin Ho-Yim.

In the Junior Challenge the following students received awards:

First Prize: David Veres

Second Prize: Anna Pang

Certificate of Merit: Eva Carlyle, Rishabh Chugh, Tom Duff, Ewan Murphy, Molly Shaw-Downie, Will Thomson.
