Buildings
GROUND FLOOR. The Old Edwardian's Library was built at the same time as the remainder of the school which opened in 1938.
UPPER FLOOR. The George Gould Memorial Library was a later addition. It was opened in 1988 and is dedicated to the memory of the former Chairman of Governors, George Newman Gould. The Gould Library has comfortable chairs, magazines and over 2900 fiction titles.
Stock
Most of the 14294 books, 18 ebooks, 55 periodical titles, 8 newspaper titles, 337 DVDs, 56 audio-tapes, 360 audio-CDs and 104 video-tapes are freely accessible in the LRC. The main sequence of resources classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification includes books, audio-tapes, videotapes and packs. Audio CDs are shelved on a separate stand in the Gould Library. Staff at the Help Desk will help users to locate items.
Facilities
Readers are welcome to request new titles. Most titles suggested by pupils and staff are purchased. New stock is added all year round.
There are fifteen networked PCs. Staff also sell small items of stationery.
