Sixth Form

A study visit is also organised to Spain for Sixth Form pupils during the February half-term, to the beautiful univeristy city of Salamanca, to the west of Madrid. It has one of the oldest universities in Spain and it is often compared to Oxford and Cambridge. The architecture is stunning and the life style is one that appeals to students from all over the world. Here, our students stay with a host family and attend the Ábaco Instituto Hispánico de Salamanca for four hours daily. Activities are organised in the afternoons; from salsa dancing to a tour of the city, a tapas evening and even a run with the bulls on a local bull farm. Students are immersed in Spanish life and their spoken skills particularly benefit enormously from the experience.
