To maintain a point of contact for passengers whilst travelling, Bus Prefects are nominated by the School, and at the start of the school year they are provided with a written brief of the action to take in an emergency and receive a verbal briefing from the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and Assistant Bursar (Facilities).
Places on the buses are allocated in strict order of receipt of the KETA Bus Registration Form, which attracts a non-refundable fee of £12.50. The termly fare appears on the school bill issued by the Accounts Department. If parents wish to terminate the use of the bus, one term's written notice is required, otherwise full payment for the term will be contacted.

Late Buses
For pupils participating in after school activities late buses to most areas are provided. Please note these late buses do not necessarily run to your morning pick-up point, but are designed to save parents/guardians the long drive into Southampton during the rush hour. The late bus stops only if requested by passengers as they board the bus. The late bus never runs on the first or last day of any term and departs at 17:30 each evening.
Registration
To indicate your interest in joining the bus scheme please complete the registration form and send to the Assistant Bursar. Places are allocated in strict order of receipt of the registration form. If a waiting list exists for a chosen route more places may become available after the GCSE results in August. In this case applicants will be informed immediately. If a space is still not available details will be retained on file and applicants informed as soon as space becomes available. A one-off registration fee of £12.50 (£6.50 for siblings) is to be returned with this form.
