The aim of the Lovaton Project is to foster links with St Mark's and to encourage independent thinking and planning among the younger pupils. Eight of our Sixth formers spent the year meeting regularly after school with ten Year 6 pupils from St Mark's. They helped them plan every aspect of a four day activities trip, held at the end of the summer term, including the actual activities, budgeting, menus and rotas. The pupils also had to make a presentation to their parents before they went.
The second year proved very successful. Activities included orienteering, raft making and a trip to the Dartmoor Museum. Here are some great photos!
