The ‘Green Team’ is a student lead group which meets weekly, on a Thursday lunch time to discuss sustainability and promote initiatives to reduce the schools impact on the environment.

WE DID IT! - KES awarded Green Flag status
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag following its official assessment earlier this month. This is a prestigious international award demonstrating that the School has taken significant steps to being a sustainable institution. Well done to everyone for the part they have played in ensuring that KES has achieved this status

The garden was officially opened by The Mayor of Southampton, Councillor Terry Matthews on Tuesday 28th June 2011.
